Default 08 HID's

OK Guys Im sorry and please excuse me if there is a thread on here... i was searching for a bit and didn't see anything relevant to what i was looking for...

Im in the market for an HID kit for my wifes car, I tinted the headlights on her 08 tC with the projector headlights... not to dark (although in pics it does look really dark) but there is a reduction in light omitted.

So my question is that her tC being that it has the stock projector housing, is there a particular HID kit that im supposed to get? 35w 55w??

Thanks in advance for all the help guys and for pointing me in the right direction.

You can either get the 35w or the 55w. The 55w will be alittle bit brighter than the 35w. I have 35w 4300k kit and it is pretty bright. I wouldn't go over 6k in temp though. Also you need a H11 kit if you dont know already.

i say stick with 35w. 55w is brighter but the color you pick has a more white hint in it. i have Meng Motorsports 6000k HID kit and i have 08 headlight projectors not tinted. i'd say get 4300k or 5000k hid kit for more light output. i hope that helps.

here's a review link to the meng motorsport hid kit
