when converting HIDs, still a lot better the 05-07s but you cant expect it to be flawless coz theyre not designed for HIDs

Just because someone thinks the newer headlights are better looking doesn't make it true!

Everyone is entitles to there opinion, and I think the 08 headlights are ugly.

This is why SL sucks, especially on the tC side. Cant wait to make tC squad...

wow, I started a thread to ask a simple question and I get people flaming away AWESOME. Just to clear things up people, I did not think it was necessary to explain my situation but alot of people have misunderstood my question. I have an 06 and my friend has an08 and he hates the new headlights and me being a good friend offered to take them off his hands. So I went ahead and ordered my HID from mobile hid and now we realized that it wont be that simple for him to put my 06 headlights on so I hopped on hoping to get some input from people who have done this conversion. so sorry Clay...

I got some 9006 plugs from cliff for like 5 bucks. I'm getting an 08 tC next month and switching the headlights, then I will sell the 08 projectors for around 300.

Sorry I really dont know what you mean by cutting the H11's then splicing the 9006, do you know of a simple DIY? that would be greatly appreciated because ive had a pair of brand new Hid's waiting to get installed for 2 weeks now and they are just "jonesin" to be put on.

easier way than cutting stuff up is just buying a HID kit and requesting a 9006 harness and then H11 bulbs. That way, there's no cutting involved and if you wanted to go back then you can

^^ What he said.

If you wanna use halogens and put 08 headlights in a 07 and lower, you need to get two male H11 connectors. They will have a power and ground wire. You chop off the 9006 male and rewire the H11 to it. Vice versa if you wanna go from 08 headlights to 07 headlights, and keep halogens also.

I will do a write up very soon, as I'm going to be changing my 08 headlights when I get the tC, to 07's. Will have pictures and crap.
