For all those afraid of baking, You simply preheat your oven to between 215 and 225 degrees. Then put the lights in for 15-20 minutes. I even put a dry towel under mine to prevent contact with the hot medal. If 215 degrees ain't enough to burn a dry towel. Then your lights will be fine. Heck they almost get that hot on a summer day when you leave your 55w halogen running. The hardest part is prying open the lights. Use a flat head screw driver to aid in the process, one that you are willing to loose because the sealant will stick to it. Get an opening around the housing and then pry them apart like your life depends on it. Don't mind any poping noises, you won't break it. There is a DIY here like I said. If you ever do decide to crak them open, try slightly bending the cuttoff shield towards the bulb. This creates more color at the cuttoff and creates that deep purple and blue flickering effect that made us all fall in love with hids in the first place, and is making people make the mistake of buying high Kelvin kits. For anyone else considering to put an HID kit in this projector. Don't go any higher than 5000k at the absolute most. 4300k is best, oem quality. They colorshift to get bluer after 100 hours. But if you can't wait then do 5000k. If you want that deep purple flicker you need white light to produce it. Blue light destroys this effect because it does not refract into as many clors in the spectrum. All the most colorful oem Hids you have ever seen are 4300k. Yes that means Maxima, mercedes, s2k,bmw. There is no such thing as real hid that is not 4300k. If you buy 8000k you will just have blue light whith demininished night vision and it is much less attractive. The color is created by a combo of optics of lense and shield. This ebay projector, despite its flaws, seems to have pretty good color at the cuttoff, even better if modded by bending the shield like I previously stated. It shows color even with the 6000k bulbs in the pic, just imagine what it could do with 4300k. When you go above 5000k you think you are getting more color, but you are actually robbing yourself of color and just getting one color, blue. I'm sure nakioki can attest to the deep blue and purple he saw with halogen bulbs in, yellow refracts more than blue but not as much as white.
well, yeah, they have to start somewhere
We're trying to get them to:
Stick LED into the top section to light up as parking lights.
Stick angel eyes integrated around the projectors.
Stick angel eyes integrated around the high beams.
and that's pretty much it

nakioki, did you ever get the setup complete and drive with it or did you return to stock already? if you did drive with the HID, i know they'll be "uber blue" but will i be able to see? Might be too late now but that's my only concern.
well, let's run the numbers based on what I know our supplier sells them to us for other cars for:
Assume the headlights alone will be $349-399 with the angel eyes built in.
Assume they will be in 2 flavors - D2S - $325 more, or H7.
The H7 are ONLY for halogen, though I'm sure some "birdie" will allow you to "play" and do "things" to it...hint hint.
The D2S will be ONLY HID.
So about $650 for everything with angel eyes (ours) and HID and new projectors.
The look will be similar to this:

$650 OUCH!!!
Personally, i don't see what's so special about umnitza other than they have been around for a while. for HALF of that price you can get the vertex racing projectors that have the same projector/angel eye set up as well as the led in the eyebrow. plus with the VRs you get turn signal led's instead of that ugly amber bulb. IMO whatever the quality of these headlights ends up being, they will not be worth the money when the VRs already appear to be good quality.
