Are we able to get the 2008 headlights at the dealership yet? If so how much?

 

probably depends on the dealership if they have it yet...don't know about the price though.

Yeah I've seen the 08 in person. I honestly am just wondering out of curiosity. I have HIDs so it's not a huge concern...I probably wouldn't get them anyways unless they're priced well.

I was reading the thread I got a little mixed up. So I can get those headlights for about 400 and I would use my HIDs to go inside the projector?

That's true...I'm just wondering though. Honestly, I have HIDs now and I'd rather put that towards something else.

Ok, the 08s have a little plastic piece underneath them. Thats the only difference from them and that 07s below. Its removeable so all us others can use them. They are either 400+shipping or 400 shipped, can't remember but just contact the Josh at trdsparks guy that started the post, he can fill you in on the info and price and stuff. They do not come with HIDs, you would have to use your own. Toyo change the bulb style to H11 for the lowbeams. High beams are still the same. Now, the 07s and below use bulb 9006 and that is what the stock harness connector is setup for. SO you have two choices. One is to cut/splice a H11 connector into the stock harness for the new H11 bulb if you don't want HIDs. Or the second option is to get a HID kit setup for 07s and below with 9006 connector for the stock harness to ballast connection then get a connector for H11 for the bulb to ballast connection. Essentially your going to want to get the 9006 kits with the H11 bulb connector. not sure on exact price, Its all kind of subjective to what is available to you.

Personally, I dont like any form of projector in the tc headlight. I think they look the best as is. Maybe clear out the side marker, throw in some hid's and a clear turn signal, that's it.

you dont have to remove the black plastic piece. i put it on as is when i got my set. My old headlight had that black plastic piece too and its to hold the bumper in place.

 

Cool, did not know that. Just remember somone one there saying you had to remove it. Didn't explain why but if your able to leave it on then thats cool.
