so who were the other three people that got a hold of those 4 sets of lights.

 

me and my twin brother got two of the sets and someone else got the other set. not too sure who the other one was

 

based on just looking at the rear the holes on both headlights it looks like the same size.

can we get some measurements please with out the rubber seal on the 08 lights

because it seems you can actually swap the 08 projector with relative ease.

 

i ordered the last set last friday. I jus wanna see who else got these lights so we can discuss and compare.

 

I dunno it really looks like you could modify a 9006 to fit in there no problem, but we'll have to wait and see.

 

I did. They're coming in on Friday and being installed over the weekend. I got the H11 HID bulbs in last week so I should have everything ready.

I was supposed to get mine today. I bought them first from Josh and he sent them out. Stupid FedEx. They never delievered my package today and they said that they attempted to even though I was home all day. Argh!

 

ouch, i hate when they do that! that has happened at least twice to me already!

 

Well, since I did buy two sets from Josh, I didn't get both of them today. I will get them tomorrow.

Oh, and I ripped into FedEx.

 

hehe, theres another thread in the lounge area of an 08. someone posted pics of the cutoff on the stock projectors with halogen, its worth the look!

I think the cutoff should be fine with the HID's. Hopefully... at least....

 

i agree, they should be 10 times better then the regular non projector housing!

 

So you want to get a set of 08 head lights and take out the projectors and fit them into the 05-07 lights? I can't see why you would take the time to do this. Just seems like alot of extra work. Oh and the seals are exactly the same for all years and have the same part #.

I'm wondering... If the parking light bulb (194) stays on while the projectors are on. anyone know?

 

Probably since it's just in the high beam now. It stays on in the 05-07s.

 

I JUST GOT MY HEAD LIGHTS!!! WOOHOOO!

 

To answer anyone's question, the plastic piece that is extra on the bottom comes off when you use needle nose pliers and pull both of the clamps. Yay! Thank you Josh and Ken. TRD Sparks are the best!
