I think the bleed through is typical of even the stock TBL, if using incandescent 194 bulbs for your plate it isn't noticeable, superbright LEDs is another story.
Thats an issue that has been going on with molded after market TBL's. The molds dont fit right on the car and causes the lens to split and also causing water to leak into your car.

I would advise u guys to check your car for MOLD build up. It is something that can harm your health.

Where did we even talk about water? The bottom edge of the TBL has light shining on it from the licence plate lights, which results in the light "conducting" into the TBL light. Masking the top of the licence lights is the cure, no mold involved.

Oznium ftw.
I can't speak for comparison, everyone I know has the Oznium. Plus you can't beat their customer service.

alan's pictures above is from an aftermarket one.. just a warning.. that's all..

however, there is no denial that the design i created by using additional arrays identical to the stock one results in a substantially brighter TBL than the two others.

at that point, the only complaint i've seen is the last 1/2-1/4" or so not lighting up

LedHeadz's third break light is great! It's bright and they use the same LEDs as the original. =D That's what I have on my tC at home in socal.

I have VRD's with no complaints, but I think Oznium is better.

While comparing my stock TBL to the oznium (flowlighting) I fail to see a difference in the way the unit was sealed, the emitted light is similar with the exception that the oznium has more LEDs. I would like to see a bench test of all the available FTBL vs the stocker.

what proof do you have? you should know the full story before saying anything.. and with the tbl you should know the full story as well why oznium can charge so much more cheaper than VRD, i don't have to explain anything, just your ignorant for what you don't know.

WOW! Calm down, it's just my own opinion, that's all. As far as the VRD fog statement goes...well here's my proof: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...asc&&start=280 . Also I spoke to a VRD representative recently and was told "We receive our foglights from a company that manufactures them in Taiwan."

As for the TBL I have seen the VRD, OEM and Oznium side by side. The VRD was bright but not as bright as Oznium's. Also the VRD TBL had condensation in it. Maybe the owner installed it wrong and broke the sealant around the TBL. Oznium's TBL goes for $116, whereas VRD's TBL ranges from $148-$195.

Once again this is just MY opinion. More important things in life to worry about than who makes better products or who likes what brand product. Don't see why you're going around calling me "ignorant".
