Should be quite easy with the plug and play kit. Finding a spot for the ballasts is the hard part.

Not really. If you take the time to remove your bumper, you will find many places. I chose to tuck mine away, so when you look in my engine bay, no sign of the ballasts. Much cleaner IMO. A lot of companies recommend behind the upper grill mounted to the rad support. That looks good too, but you can see them through the grill

Wouldn't behind the upper grill be a bad spot because of water issues?

Would there be any places I could put them by just taking off the underbody and not having to remove the bumper. I am really not comfortable with removing my bumper. Plus it has an rs1 lip attached so I really don't wanna have to take that off too.

I don't know how you have the lip attached, but it should be mounted to the bumper, which means it comes off with the bumper, you won't have to take it off separately. I don't think you have to worry about the ballasts getting wet, as long as you don't submerge them, they should be fine.

It took forever for me to find a place for the ballasts. I put my passanger one right behind where the high beam is, there was a flat surface there, and i put my driver's side one on the top right corner. I have the thin ballasts. It looks all neat so i'll just try and take pics with my phone.

don't u have the projectors? The light should be pure white. If u have projectors it makes the ends of the cutoff look blue though.

6000k I thought was the in between color. 4300k is more of a light white and 5000k is the pure crystal white. From what I have seen. Do u have projectors or regular headlights?
