i have the 6000K. I promised pictures earlier so here they are. Maybe this will clear up some of the confusion.

Where did u install the passenger side ballast?

 

o sorry. i thought i posted that pic, i will get it hosted and try to get it up asap. but i mounted it on the screw that is used to hold the coolant reservoir

i got mine from operatic, mann i need to aim mine a bit higher...i aimed it soo low that when im inside the car i can't even see any signs of a cut off, only if i look for it..and its like really low. im going to fix it later ..

cuz like i can't see anything with it just aiming really low to the road XD

yea, the passanger side mount had to be twisted a little so that it would fit better, but nuthin to bad. As far as aiming...i didnt bother aiming mine at all, they seemed pretty good where they were at after i installed them so i just left em.

 

Yea the passanger side is the hardest to find a place for. Took me 20 minutes of just staring and unplugging tryin to find a good spot. Wish i had a camera to show you where i put em. I got the 08 projectors

 

dang i can't get the darn new headlights to go in for nothing. I got the right size bulb but they just don't wanna push in enough for me to turn the bulb to lock it......

is there something i might be doing wrong? I have the two big prongs and the little one lined up like they should be.

 

i had a little trouble putting mine in too, i got it after a little while though. im not sure but, i think the new bulbs actually have to be twisted the oposite way of the stock ones in order for them to lock in.

 

that wouldn't make sense cause the bulb can only turn one way. Like if u look, there is a groove that it goes in and it only goes one way.

 

haha, idk, im just tellin u what i noticed when i installed mine. i coudve sworn that it was opposite. i could be wrong though...

nope didn't work. It is almost like they aren't going in all the way. Like I can't push them in enough to turn. Like if two prongs go in the other one just kinda sticks out. aaahhhhh

 

yea thats what mine felt like too. i just kept trying and trying and i finally got them to go in. Theres like some sort of foam stuff in the shape of a cirlce around the base of the light right?

 

yeah u talking bout the red o-ring? Am I just gonna have to push like a **** to make that go in? cause it seems like that is what is stopping me......

 

yea, i had to give it a little push, i think its prob supposed to be that way so its nice and snug, thats why the surrounding of the bulbs base is foam. just dont break those bulbs, they are are pretty damn expensive, haha

 

man I am pushing as hard as i can and the darn thing WILL NOT go in. It seems like the red rubber or the actual plastic in front of it is too SNUG to fit. I mean if it was just a mm smaller then it would prolly slide right in. My hands are super red right now from trying to push this darn thing in. I am so ready to send it back.

 

damn, well before you send it back, give them a call and make sure they shipped you the right ones.
