Yea then that's when that big escalade with the same idea comes and parks next to you taking up two spots. The driver then dings you as he gets out.

Well I was just able to gain access to the dent from inside the trunk. Dummy me forgot to look in the most obvious area, by the tailight. Any idea of how to bang it out?

Try to massage it out with your finger. I can't really tell how big it is but it looks small enough to do that.

yea, I tried that already, but couldn't get it to budge with all that I have!

Maybe if I use a small circular piece of wood and gently tap on it with a hammer from the inside?

I had a dent similar to yours.

Try using a hair dryer, heat gun or towels with warm water to "warm up" the bumper - (it's plastic). When your feel that the bumper is warm enough try pushing it out with your hand. It "should" pop right out. Be careful not to burn your yourself.

If you need more advice - LMK.

See if you can get a rubber mallet in there or something rubber and tap it out with a hammer.

Alright, so I did a combination of what you guys said. I heated it so that it was a bit more pliable, but couldn't get it out with my hands, so I got a small rubber mallet in there and was able to bang most of it out. The only problem, is that I banged one little piece out a bit TOO far, but I was able to push it back with my hands (a lot of course to do that, but I heated it and wore gloves). The problem though, is that since it was pushed out a little bit and now back into place, the paint almost started to crack a tiny bit in that one spot. Its too small to take a picture of since I only have a cell phone to do so with, but i'm afraid of the paint peeling off in that one spot and/or getting rusting there?

Any suggestions on what to do there or should I just let it be? It's really small and i'll try again to take a picture if its necessary for advice. Thanks a lot guys - you're great with the suggestions!!
