you can contact k2motor (spec-d) I bought mine (made by eagel eyes) at their website and they have different kind of tail lights for the tc I'm sure you can ask them who make them. by the way for does people asking where can you buy the tail lights online beside ebay go to www.k2motor.com and if you live near 626 you can buy the product and have it pick up the same day at their warehouse or they offer free shipping too.

 

The Sonar ones are called Altezza because:

Anyways, the Anzos are different and made by Anzo USA. There are rebadged ones called Eagle Eyes, which you will see on eBay. They are the same lights, just depends on who you buy through.

You might find this amusing I looked up "Anzo" on eBay and return 12x listings for shoes! Nothing in eBay Motors or for cars...

I tried "Eagle Eyes" and I got 28x listings for sunglasses and music with 6x of the 9 listings in eBay motors for motorcycle turn signals!

I know you are absolutely right so I checked the Search Title and Description box and returned 1894x possiblilities for everything from fishing lures to a OEM/stock Tacoma taillight.

About 30x fm the top I finally spotted this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-02...14395436QQrdZ1 so I narrowed the search to eBay Motors and there they were!

Apparently they made repro OE/stock units as well. I found these Benz units for only about $70 a pair incl S&H!



I'm noticing that a large number of tC owners seem to prefer the OE (all-red look) but with LEDs. What about all red with a band of clear in the middle like those Benz lenses? Does anybody think that would look sick or would it be too Camry? (hey it rhyms! ...benz lenz.. nevermind....)

I recall seeing a tC locally, but only once in traffic, that had the top corner solid amber for a turn with the B/U in the stock spot and the rest of the main body was red like stock but with LEDs. Anybody know which ones those are?

I like the variety... even the 'ugly ones'...(just not for my car!) It keeps things from getting I figure as long as I get to pick what I like , I'm happy. Everybody is not going to agree no matter what you mod.

Good thing there are so many choices in aftermarket for cosmetics like this. Wasn't that long ago, if you didn't like the tails you'd have to wait till the next year's OE came out on the next models and 'update' to those at dealer prices
This way we are faced with so many choices we no longer get to make the excuse that we don't like those ugly things either... but they came with the car! Maybe car companies should make them interchangeable like cell-phone covers! That way we could just keep changing them with a snap and click everytime they draw some bad smack On the upside, maybe the prices would come down On the downside. though, the best prices would probably come from 'hot' once that were pinched off of parked cars because they be even easier to steal (You all realize that's why the OE have that really superlong top pin and the 2x bottom clip rails tha hook under the bumper,right? Theft prevention! They figured the tails would be much less attractive to thieves if they have to tear the bumper cover off 1st or risk destroying the housing! The older xB already sold in Japan in '98 BTW doesn't have that feature; it's 3x nuts and a plug and you're away! You could say that they learned something from the theft/chop-shop numbers with the Camry...)

Might have been an overlay? but sounds like the TYC's with an overlay...or might have been the Feint tails...were the brake lights circular LEDs? then they were Feint.

My Anzos, a lot better looking than the Sonar in my opinion:

 

I don't know why you put the overlay over the Anzo tails, to me it doens't look good. Should of just had it tinted like KINGxOFxSKA rather than those overlays, but to each their own I guess.

I was going to go that route, but the bottom part is chrome and didn't match to the unsmoked TBL, and I do not want any chrome on the tail lights. I wanted to smoke them light tint, not black-out. My car is FM and in my opinion, having darker tail lights than the color of paint looks off unless on a white or black car...but to each their own, I agree.
