APT Fog lights ( ebay VRD's)
#1403
Just received my set in the mail. It's ridiculous how fast they ship (I ordered mine on Friday). So for those of us who get excited and impatient when expecting a package, you won't have to wait much!
BTW...seller just updated quantity (More than 10 available).

I just had a knock at the door and it was the delivery for the APT fog lights, and my Genuine Japan TRD Oil Cap(separate eBay order) also. Def a good day. I checked yesterday for a tracking number and was like maybe they haven't been sent out yet, then today rolls around and surprise!
Edit:Order was placed on the 16th.

blue batmobile is one of the most ghetto companies I have seen. Their website links to a photobucket album of people that have their product, you need to email them or PM them here to get it and then you go from there. Strange, I know.
I believe this is the email address you email to order:
bluebatmobile@san.rr.com

hey guys,
i'm looking to get the yellow nokya bulbs and some yellow vinyls or overlays! but just have a few questions!
has anybody had any problems with burning up their harnesses or anything like that with the nokya bulbs?
and what kind of overlays/vinyls have people used?
and if i pair up some vinyls with the bulbs, will the vinyls get melted?
just curious cuz i've had a few friends who melted their vinyls from their fogs being too hot and sorry if these questions have been answered already! thanks a lot :D

Stick with 55w bulbs(which is the wattage the bulbs are with the kit) and you shouldn't have any issues. It's when you start running higher wattage bulbs that things start to melt, it even says that in the description for the listing. I'll probably stop by a local vinyl shop and check if they'd have anything to help protect it like I've seen for headlights.

ive had my fogs tinted with the vinyl for more than a year and they have never melted. the vinyl is made for that so i doubt it can melt.. u can get it on ebay for about $8 and u dont need to buy the nokya bulbs youll be fine with just the vinyl.. hope this helped

sweet, thanks a lot!
im going to order the vinyl first to see how yellow it is without bulbs so i can always upgrade my bulbs later on in case i want it brighter or something..
if i do decide on some new bulbs im probably going to get either yellow nokya's or golden GP thunder bulbs in 55w
also, i've heard bluebat does vinyls on here? anyone know how i can contact him? or any trusty sources where i can get myself some vinyl overlays?

Finally installed mine and noticed the driver side fog light is obviously pointed up higher, and it's cut off when up close to a wall(a few feet) it's slanted like so \ but not too that degree, might have to snap a pic later.

^I knew I forgot something, I was wanting to measure them also and do something similar. The lens is a flat piece of glass so DIY any vinyl/lens cover/etc. should be easy. I'll post what find later today.
Edit: It's difficult to get an exact measurement with them already on the car with a ruler so here are approximate numbers. The longest dimension is about ~6.5"(the bottom of the fog light) and the height is ~3"(I put my iPhone up to the glass for this lol).

I just got mine today and im going to install them this weekend but i just wanted to be sure i don't have to mod my lip kit to make these fit? I have the OEM GFX front lip.

There's three options:
1. Trim the lip so the fog light fits no problem
2. Just shove the fog light in the opening, the lip will put some pressure on it but once it's set it's not moving anywhere
3. Run without front lip
