Well going with past experiences with my car it looks like #2 is best haha

I still have the wiring for the oem fog lights on the car so im hoping the install of these will be pretty easy, just find the gray connector that i need to plug the apt's into and that should be in the engine bay i think everything else is done right by where i install the switch

The install is just like the PDF on Sparks site. I have an air diversion panel installed(was to lazy to take it off) still so I just tucked the wiring above the lower grill. When you're looking in the driver's fender area(looking from under the car) and find the ground wire you'll see the harness a few inches towards the front, the plug for the fog is grey with a pink wire. It took me a moment to figure that out.

^^

Yup, mine came on Tuesday, some people here got it on Monday. Usually when I buy an item off eBay that has a high shipping charge it is to make up for the price of the item. Seems like that was not the case this time.

I ordered mine a week ago and it was in customs since Wednesday. Does anybody know why it's still in customs?

Here's my fogs from APT, just installed this weekend.

Fog light rewire mod that allows them to turn on with low beams and/or DRL's

Just ordered mine. Just don't know what I should do to them. yellow vinyl film & smoked film, 2500k bulb & smoked film, 3000K HID & smoked film over. Any suggestions?

I like the clear look. I just stuck some Nokya hyper yellows in and called it a day.
Looks really good like that. I wouldn't put HID's in there due to the glaring.

Yeah, definitely dont do HID's. The housings for the fogs have no protection for controlling the path of light and stuff like that, so HID's are going to be REALLY bright. I have actually had cars with HID fogs drive behind me (its pretty obvious) at night, and I basically had to change my rear view camera to reflect light up, because it was hurting my eyes when I wasnt even looking back. With that being said, a popular option is clear with hyper yellow bulbs. I have it and I think it looks nice. You can always add a yellow overlay, it would look cool. I am going to get a clear overlay soon to prevents scratches and chipping.

yeah I might end up doing the yellow bulbs but i might do a smoked film because im going with a murdered-out look.

Do you guys think a 7"x8" vinyl sheet would be enough to cover both fogs?

Buying what? The fog lights or the vinyls or the bulbs?

fogs are totally worth getting. theyve been around since 2004 (VRD) and they just simply look the best.

i was considering HID's for mine but i yellow filmed and 2500k Nokya's and that was it.

xdejablu3x idk if that would be enough i used a 12x12" sheet and that seemed to work fine and have alot extra so maybe 7x8 would be good aslong as you were precise on the cutting

Yeah, fogs add a great look to your car as well. I personally dont like HID's on the fogs, they shouldnt be as bright as your headlights, especially that they dont funnel any of the light and for people driving in front of you is a distraction for them.
