xdejablu3x idk if that would be enough i used a 12x12" sheet and that seemed to work fine and have alot extra so maybe 7x8 would be good aslong as you were precise on the cutting
Do you know how much left over you had? Lol did you finally get banned from your other account? As long as I get a very good (close to) estimate in height and width of the fog light glass lens that I can work from there. I just don't want to buy too much or too little vinyl.

I know a 7x8 sheet is enough, I just used one for my set

There was very little left over, I would say it was the perfect size.

When you installed it did you apply it to the fog lights first then cut or cut and then install them onto the fog lights?

I cut the sheet in half first, then applied it. I just placed both fog lights on the sheet to make sure it would work before cutting.

I wasn't sure if I was suppose to do it a certain way cause most of the time people apply the vinyl on and cut around it while it's on the fog light housing.

I complely misunderstood what you said, I was half asleep when I wrote that. I cut the sheet in half, then applied it to each fog light. After the vinyl was applied I trimmed it to size.

My first couple of mods were a S2K antenna and custom lower to upper grill.

Anyone getting a tracking number for these or did they just wait for them to arrive like the good old days?

Mine arrived before getting a tracking number, took about 5 days to get delivered. You'll get yours.

been running my ebay fogs for the past 2 years no problem. The only thing i regret is putting HIDs in them (i had some expendable income at the time) because i dont really have a use for them down in Florida. Plus whenever i do put them on i get flashed at

Just ordered a set myself.

Now all I have to do is get my bumper painted, and I'll have a nice shiney new front end. Originally I was just going to stick with the TRD fog lights I ordered when I bought the car. I've been using HIDs in them since almost day 1 and love the performance. I'm going to try HIDs in the APTs, regardless of everyone's insistence that it's silly, since I already have the ballasts mounted. That, and I love the look of consistency--my highs, lows, and fogs all look the same when they're on, and that I appreciate.

^it's not "silly", it is being an a__hole. I mean the guy right above you posted that he regretted putting them in because he gets flashed a lot. It's glaring and distracting to on coming traffic.

Understood where you are coming from.

Unless there's a huge optical diffusion difference, then I don't think I'll have a problem. As I have mentioned, I've been using them (HIDs) in my TRD fogs since I've had the car, and never had an issue. As long as they're not adjusted to shine in the face of oncoming traffic, I don't understand why drivers would spend time staring at the fog lights on my car? Unless I'm missing something? Do these have some higher state of refraction than the OEM available fog lights from the dealer? And if so, can they not be adjusted low enough to provide safe, superior lighting without being a distraction?

Well, the people that say its silly really mean its stupid. Its too bright and is dangerous for cars driving in front of you. I have been in front of several cars that clearly had HID fog lights and I had to basically change lanes so I could not be blinded.

By the way, this is just my opinion. Many people disagree, but everyone who I have talked to that is good with cars and are older (teenagers often enjoy showing off and looking cool and forget that safety is important) say that HID fog lights are not a good choice.
