hey im looking to get a tC shortly and im just wondering if the rear scion badge is inset at all or can it be taken right off? I hope to make it completely badgeless and maybe even shave the door handles this summer. we'll see.

Its not inset you can just take it off with some fishing line and a blow dryer!!! Heat the emblem and use the fishing line to pry it off. It works great and doesnt scratch or damgae paint.

what about that "bumper sticker and lable remover"? ok to use or no?

 

I thought the "Scion" Badge was inset just like it is on the xA. I know the tC badge isn't (took mine off already). If the "Scion" badge wasn't inset, I think I would have removed it.

 

How do you go about removing the rear Scion Emblem??

Same as described above. Heat up the emblem with a hair dryer / heat gun and gently pull the emblem off. If you heat it enough, all / most of the glue will come off with the emblem. If there is still glue on the car after you remove the emblem, heat that up and wipe if off with a warm rag or some Goo Gone. Voila! Of course, you're still left with a funky oval dent were the emblem used to be.

 

I'm just looking to pull it off and reattach it later. I thought it might have a bolt or clasps holding it in. I thought I had read something like that at some point.
