I bought the Rhino Ramps at autozone. Gave me so much room under the car, Installing the rear sway was a snap. I wish I had it when I installed my exhaust.

 

How'd you get your car up on them?

All the ramps I've tried aren't long enough for my lowered car and the body hits the ramp before my tires can get to it.

Really sucks too. Always a jack and jack stands.

low profile ramps for lowered cars

I think my tC would have the same problem... I need ULTRA low profile ramps....

My arms get SUPER tired spinning that stupid jack.... I need a nice low profile hydrolic jack setup....

 

OMG those hydrolic jacks are awesome. my neighbor has one and nice jack stands that hold like 3 tons each, just a few pumps of the jack and my car was up. made taking off the whees easy. with a friend i got 2 off at a time. best part is he told me i could use it when i needed it. guys mad cool.

 

Takata makes low profile ramps that none of your cars should have issues with.

Yikes.... Nothing like a 40 pound EACH set of ramps that spans your whole garage!

Those look very similar to what a friend of mine has. They (if the same) raise the car almost 5 inches. Its just enough to craw underneath but its not as high as i wish it could be.

Making custom DIY ones is a good idea, but i'd rather not work with wood. Just me.

Yea but takata ones are claimed to be made from recycled takate harnesses. j/k

 

the point is you can drive up on these and use a traditional jack, for me the center jacking point in the front of the xb I can't reach on the ground, drive up on this, then have enough room to get the jack under there and get it up high on some jack stands. I dont know about you guys but I get sick of jacking up one side at a time and once you slam your box you definitely can't get to that front jack point.

 

Yup those are the ones except they cost 40 at autozone. The grade is only 17% so my car had plenty of room of course it is not lowered or anything.

 

I rather spend it on 2 ton floor jack with jack stand and creeper combo. Its less than $50 at checkers/kragen.

 

for those that cant drive onto ramps like me, all you have to do is to place a 2x4 lengthwise right infront of the ramp. this will raise the car a little b4 it gets to the ramp.
