Hey guys,

I switched out my crappy ebay projectors with my OEM 05+ headlights. Now i need a new 9006 bulb, and I was wondering which brand sold the best Bulb? not the ballast, but the actual bulb itself. I've searched and most forums are talking about the hid kit and the ballast, never the bulb.

or are most of the bulbs all the same? Right now I have a DDM 55W ballast, and I used to have Apexcone 6000K bulbs. I heard that HIDEXTRA has amazing bulbs!

Also, i'm looking at going to 5000K, how much blue is in it? Is it a lot brighter than the 6000K?

 

i have 5000K but i have an 09 so it has the projector housing, and it looks real nice. im considering going down to 4300K for more output.

 

have any pictures? not the cutoff, but the light output?

I don't think 5000k has any blue in it! I use to have 6000k and it didn't have any blue.

 

You can assume that most bulbs come from the same group of factories in China.
You are basically choosing which seller has the best price and customer service.

There are real name brand companies that sell good reliable 9006 HID bulbs, but due to current laws they are not sold in the US.
