if you want blue as possible get 10k... i have had both 8k and 10k... the 10k almost give off a turquoise color but its significantly bluer than the 8k... the 8k is a bright ___ white with a shade of ice blue... i have a nbm tc and went with the 8k bc i didnt like the turqouise color...

Why even spend the money on them if they aren't even going to be useful? Might as well save the money for something worthwhile.

I have my 5000k, and they are perfect to me, a hint of blue, but mostly white. They also have better distance the OEM, 6k and above will get LESS light than OEM.

Those look a hint bluer than mine, but mine are the MobileHID ones (it could just be the pictures too.)

Projectors will create color themselves, they don't need high kelvin bulbs to make color. That's why ALL OEM bulbs are 4300K and some manufacturers give off blue/purple color. Anything over 5000k in projectors is a complete waste (I have 5000k and I wish I got 4300K).

For stock reflector headlights, 8000K will give you roughly the same light output as standard halogen bulbs, 10000k+ will give less light.

the reflection on the asphalt looks about right though. It could also be the projectors that make it seem a bit more blue than mine.

Pictures will really mess with the color of the lights.

6000K in Reflectors

5000K in Projectors

5000K Projectors output

I have a the exact same shot as the last one of an Evo with OEM 4300k, and the output of aftermarket 5000K is just pathetic in comparison.
