best way to get scratch out of headlight?

As I was mounting my new grille I somehow....not sure how ..... I put an inch scratch in my headlight - is there any way to take it out or make it less noticable?

I'm afraid there isnt a way to fix it but you could make it less noticable with an overlay.

ahh - darn. Do you think i would mess it up even more if i tried to lightly compound it a bit? Its not a deep scratch.

Try using an abrasive polish. If that doesn't work, step up to a compound. If it isnt removed with that, wetsanding will be needed. I wouldnt try this by hand though. your going to need a machine.
