why do people change the car emblem in the front to like Acura or Honda?
I'm not against it, i just dont know why.

 

 

Hey danno2022... I hope you don't mean that scion drivers change their emblems to Acura or Honda.. If Honda people are doing that, they do it to be "JDM" ....

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market, so like being jdm is like being Japanese style.

 

pretty much like Blk said. Acura is made by Honda. And Acura isn't sold in Japan (I believe). But there is a RSX type car over there (again, I believe), so basically they're trying to go with the "JDM look", as it's not going to be JDM unless you either import an actual Japanese car or do a steering wheel/gague/etc. relocation (i.e. move it to the right side). same as how xB peeps put the bB emblem on their boxes, and how xA owners put the ist symbot on theirs. tC cats can't do a swap of emblems, b/c the tC isn't sold over in Japan, though some peeps have changed their Scion emblem to a Toyota one.
