I recently purchashed a set of CF tC side mirror covers. I thought they would have attached manually, but they dont. What do I use to put them on? Double-Sided tape? The box just came with covers & thats it. Help

 

epoxy/silicon put tape on it and let it set for a day or so. they shouldnt move

 

Is that the kind of tape I buy? Or is that the type of glue I use? Sorry if I'm askin dumb questions. I just dont want to mess this up, lol.

Take Old Mirrorcovers Off

Put silicon (all purpose that glues to anything, most are suitable) on back of the cf cover and glue to the mirror as they were adjusting accordingly to make sure its flush.

keep it there for a few min so it doesnt move

get some masking/packing tape and tape it so it wont move, or just dont drive the car for a day or so

 

How would you get it off later?

They're probably the firmwareworx ones. I heard they're not making them anymore, but I've seen a few sets of the covers floating around.

I got them from JDMCarBoys took them forever and a day to ship it out to me. They dont fit too snugg, but that can always be fixed. I dont know about the silicon, I dont want to permantly damage the current cover. The 3m tape sounds like a better option but I dont want them to fly off while i'm driving, lol.

 

I have the FWW coversl iek tc4italy. so i assume the same thing.

the silicon holds strong trust me on that i autox and hit the car up to 90+mph and they didnt budge.

SIlicon wont damage the cover unless u wanna take em off. the 3m tape is only to hold the cover on during the drying period so they wont dry crooked.

fitment on the FWW isnt great but ehhh acceptable level of fitment i guess.
