I have a friend who has access to laser cutting machines, so one day I drew up a design in autocad and asked him to burn me a design. Just got it today, what do you guys think? I am gonna do the same design for the bottom grill but without any lettering, instead I will make a mount for the licensce plate, off center, in the lower grille area.

Test mount it first, take pictures, and THEN decide to paint it / leave it.

 

yea i need to get a chance to test it out first.. too dark already to do it tonight. This is still the testing phase, everything isn't 100% perfect yet. Its made of stainless steel though so no worries of rust. If it works out nice and anyone is interested I can get more of these made and powdercoated.

Nice, I need a new grille. How do you plan on attachng it and could I possibly send a pattern for you to fabricate into a grille using your friend's laser cutting machine?

 

I'm guessing it's going to be installed in a manner similar to stock- you can see the tab holes around the perimeter. If I had a friend with that machine I'd have new door sills, dead pedal, I don't even know what else...

 

you know i didn't think of the dead pedal and door sills. I'll have to look into that lol. As of right now i think i'm leaving the grill unpainted cause it has a nice brushed look. I have the black projector headlights on my tc and painting the grill black would make everything look too dark imho. We got a lot of snow this week so as soon as I can get some pics i'll throw them up here. And yes hopefully i'll be albe to mount it more or less like stock.
