use a hair dryer to loosen the glue, no holes, us something to clean the surface afterwards. An outline of a "tC" will still stick around for awhile.

I used goo-gone..no need for a hair dryer. Just soak the adhesive a few time before you try to remove it..I used the small bottle that lets you squeeze a fine stream between the badge and the paint.

careful with goo gone tho, it will go though your clear coat easily if rub they paint too hard and too much....i reccomend just useing a blow dryer and floss, and then clean up the rest of the glue with a tad of goo gone....

That is not true at all. Goo-gone is ctirus based and will not touch the clear coat. There are others our there with names like "goof-off" that are chemical based that can damage the clear coat. I have used goo gone for years on my paint for things like tree sap, road tar etc with no problems.

The "tC" Emblem is by far the easiest to remove. (No holes afterward.) I too just used a hair dryer and floss. The "Scion" Emblems were a little more tough because of the alignment pegs. Although I didn't 'de-badge' my tC, I had to remove them in order to put on the Blacked-out ones. Goo-Gone helps in removing the excess tape. Then I waxed the area where the "tC" emblem was. Then applied the Black emblem. Worked like a charm. I have pix if you like.

Ditto here. I actually used fishing line, it works very nicely. Ran the fishing line behind the emblem, then used Goo-Gone to take off the residue. Then wash, treat and wax and you're all set :D

I didn't need floss or a hair dryer. I just pulled mine off with my fingers, then waxed where the emblem had been.

Its POSSIBLE to not use HEAT, but you're really risking pulling some paint off with the badge....

Best to heat badge with heat gun/hairdryer, use fishing line/floss to "cut" adhesive bond behind badge, Then peel it off.

THE BEST adhesive remover is 3M gum, wax, adhesive remover (buy at pep boys, etc..) this stuff is designed for autobody applications and will not affect your paint/clear coat. ALSO, its about 3x stronger than Goo Gone (i know, use it every day for work) and safer than goof off.

Whole process should take only 15-20 minutes.good luck, definitely looks much better without "tc" badge!

Like I said before...3 applications of goo-gone..wait 15 minutes...whole thing peels off with no residue..no heat or floss or anything else required.

LIke I said before, you COULD just RIP the friggin thing rite off! But to be on the safe side, u always heat the adhesive...ask any professional.

Also working as a Prop person for film, tv, and video...I use cleaning agents EVERY day, including goo gone, because it is safe on a wide variety of surfaces...HOWever, it is not that strong (why u have to use 3 applications and wait 15 mins...and probably still have some clean up to do after that). The 3M solution I suggested, first of all, IS A 3M product! and secondly, its specifically designed for use on auto body surfaces....

But hell, do whatever u want, it ain't my car...ps your warranty won't cover the huge paint chip where your "tc" badge used to be!

LOL, Ripping it off works well. I've used the turtle wax bug and tar remover. It worked well with the paint ( just don't rub too hard on a black car or you are asking for trouble!)

And make sure you have something to go in the dip it sits in!

You run the risk of damaging your paint more if you hold a hair dryer to it than you do just pulling it off. The glue is not that strong. Just leave the car out in the sun for a while. It will heat up enough to just pull off.

Leave it out in the sun for a while?? DOOD, seriously....Couldn't that ruin the paint?? ;p

It's 10 degrees below freezing outside in the sun.

I used floss, and then rubbed teh remaining glue off with my thumb.
