I just debadge my tC about 15 mins ago. It took less than 5 minutes to do. I wanted to use a fishing line but I didn't have one available so I used floss. After removing the emblem with the floss, I manually removed the sticky/foamy residue then buffed it out with meguiars scratch x and wa-la.

Has anyone actually took off the Scion emblem on the back as well?

yea but most of them either got another badge to put in its place, or took the piece to a body shop to get the dent filled... the SCION emblem is "pushed" into the car.

Can't you use rubbing alcohol to wipe off
the little residue left behind?

I live in texas...couldn't I leave my car out in the sun all day(like I always do) and then try pulling it off around 4-5pm when after it's done baking for the day? Or would that not be hot enough and I'ld risk losing paint?
