Debadging the tC
All i did was pull mine right off. although i did that while i was at the dealer the day i bought the car so the adhesive was still fresh.
Anyone reading this thread that dont own a tc yet, dont wait to take of the emblem, do it right away, it will be easier and you wont cause any harm that way.

U people must LIKE doing things the hard way....Does anyone understand the concept that heating an adhesive makes it more pliable, easier to work with...and in this case, safer.
HEll, u could Karate kick the badge off if u wanted to...I just don't see why anyone in their right mind would not agree that its best/easiest to heat the adhesive first...
BTW~~I debadged my car last year around this same time...at nite time when it was abou 20 degrees outside.

thanks guys for the advice. two minutes after i posted it i searched the web for debadging the tC and i found out how to do it. i do appreciate everyone getting back to me. i used a hair dryer then got fishing line and it came off right away. then i used bug and tar remover to get off the excess. i must say..it looks great!
Debadging the "tC":
1. Select a nice hot day, park in the sun, let the area around the emblem get as
warm as possible (or use a hairdryer)
2. Pry the emblem off with your fingers (try to leave as much adhesive on the
emblem as possible).
2.1 If simple "prying" does not work - use floss to "saw" through the adhesive.
3. Clean up the mess: try to remove as much lefover adhesive as possible with
your fingers, the rest comes off with any adhesive remover. I like the DucTape
brand adhesive remover - it smells like oranges
4. Wax the sore area.
I didn't have to use a hairdryer. I just pryed (sp?) it off using my fingers and applied Goo Gone.

use a little dental floss doubled up and make a "sawing" motion, it should pop right off with the help of a hear dryer............now on to my question, removal of the front emblem? does it pop right off?
..........i dont have all day like some people do to go through 129 pages of worthless responces like you posted. maybe you should post relevant contributions "it works wonders" ........anyone in the this thread know how to remove the front badge
