what are some good blue headlights that are 55w so they wont burn out the harness...deep blue ones what brand do i get?

you could try the lumanics true(or is it pure?) blue lights.. i have them ... pretty blue....no harrasment from "the man"...yet....

 

those lumanics are they 55w compatiable? and where can i get them? besides online

yeah i believe/hope they are 55w compatible.. think u can only get them online at this point.. but it only took like 2 days to get them w/o special ordering.... check out thier site to see if they are 55w compatible.. ;)

i was in court, and a guy before me was ocught with them, and the judge was making fun of it.... it was kinda funny

 

cops arnt really gonna do anything about ur light unless they are blue. There isnt a bulb ur gonna buy with enough blue to make a cop pullu over without an HID kit. and if it were such a big deal companies wouldnt make there cars with HID kits.

 

"The Man" usually hsa to be bored or you are just in the wrong place at the wrong time to get blued over for just blue hue in your lights.

We are running HIDS 6000K with 194 Blue bulbs and Blue Light Protection over that and never had any problems. Just dont do stupid stuff and you should be okay.

cops can nail you for it though, if they have you pulled over for speeding (or something like that) and decided to take a good look at your car, and hammer you for all the illegal mods you have. you will get a repair ticket for it sometimes though...

 

oh yea dont get me wrong. im not sayin u cant get in trouble for it but cops dont sit there and look for cars with blue lights. if so every BMW and Lexus would be pulled over. just stick to somethin thats not like super blue and dont do stupid ____ and you will be fine.

 

Actually, i believe they do that because people changing their lights. If its OEM, its okay. take for example tint, some cars from the factory havfe darker than legal tint, but its okay because it came from the factory like that. But you cant alter anything, that i believe makes it illegal.

 

hows a cop gonna tell the diffrence if ur just drivin down the road at night? ive seen civics and acuras with HID kits and i doubt they get pulled over for that. take example the mazda 3. it has an HID option but the lights are yellow without it. so it doesnt matter if it comes on the car. cops arnt gonna know from 200 feet away.

 

It might not keep you from gettin pulled over if the cop chooses to do so, but you have the ability to fight the ticket with no problem if its OEM. Thats what i was tryin to say.

 

Maybe in MD they might, but not out here on the West Coast and AZ where I am from. Gotten those speeding tickets you mentioned and dotn get nailed for the illegal mods you mentioned. Actually, I passed two cops today at 90 with about ten other cars and they just sat there and watched us go by.

i got a friend in one of my clubs (he is black... this is VERY relevant for this story)

we were in OC Maryland, and he got pulled over because his exhaust was too loud, For one... he drives a neon... and not a loud one at that, harleys are MUCH louder....

anyways... the cop TRIES to pin him for:

exhaust being too loud
car being too low
bulbs having a blub tint/hue
and a bunch of ther thnigs that arnt coming to mind...

but basically he got a DWB (for all of you that dont know what a DWB is... driving while black)

he had another friend (white) in the car with him, but only he was pulled from the car, and was searched. now as a law in MD, when one person is pulled from the car, everyone much get out of the car, but only the driver was in this case... luckly, my friend knows the car laws very well... and basically the cop had an internal investiagation on him after my friends case was held.

 

hey Mizle which nokya bulb do we need. What I mean is what model/size do I need I want to get these and have no clue on which one to buy and would like to take your word for it as you are saying they are nice bulbs.
