hey, somebody recently backed into my rear bumper and made a dent in it. Paint was scratched a lot, but no holes or anything, about 8-9 inch dent. I wanted to take out the bumper and pop the dent back out but I dont know how to go about this. Can anyone help me? do I have to use hot water on it first too? Thanks in advance

 

Suction cup dent puller might work. They've taken out panel dents on my other cars.

Far as I know, bodyshops boil the bumper to take dents out, but you have to repaint afterward.

 

well the thing is that I dont have a dent puller on me right now and I dont know where to get one. Would like a soft hammer work to hit it out?
