Im probabbly gonna get yelled at by people here, but whats the difference between "RS1", and the "RS2?"

The difference between RS1 and RS2 is 1 LOL

RS is release series. The Scions have speical releases each year with limited production. If you go to the tC forum it lists the RS series on the left side and gives the details..............

 

color, grill, seats, wheels

RS1 - Absolutely Red
18" Enkei Super 7 hyper black
colored interior seats black/red inserts
color keyed strut bar
color keyed aem bettery tie down/oil cap

RS2 - Blue Blitz Mica
Factory 17" satin finish
Alcantara seats

 

Well which would be better the 1, or 2?
Aslong as their is not power differences in them, im happy.

RS1 ftw...

 

If I could I would get the RS2 with the RS1 Grill and Wheels.

So in other words I would get the best of both worlds.

To answer a previous question, neither is better than the other. For me the RS2 was a perfect choice because of the color, seats, and audio system, however I wouldn't mind having the RS1 wheels as well.

 

Its probably impossible to get a RS1 now.

 

Personally, I love my RS1. In my opinion, the RS2 was a let-down. The RS1 has the following:

Absolutely Red Exterior
18" Enkei "Liquid Graphite" Rims
Color Tuned Seats
RS1 Floormats and Door Sills
Color Tuned Engine Bay
-Red Strut Bar
-Red AEM Oil Cap
-Red AEM Battery Tie Down
Black Grilles (very expensive if bought separately)

The RS2 has the following:
Mesh Grille
Blitz Blue Mica Exterior
"Satin" Rims (aka dull looking stock rims)
Alacantra Seats
Air Bags
and some stereo stuff

RS2 sounds a little better, the RS1 looks a lot better. I love my RS1.

I like flint. I almost didn't get my RS1. Flint Mica was my next choice.

 

IMHO, the RS1 was waaayyyy better then the RS2. Scion should have flip-flopped the color schemes with the RS3 xB and the RS2 tC. Envy Green tC would have been HAWT!! Option for option, I believe the RS1 tC wins hands down. Seems like the RS2 tC was a let down compared to the RS3 xB and RS1 tC option/feature-wise. Good luck trying to find a RS1 tC.

OMG!! RS1, RS2, they're JUST TC's! god, there not some special edition AMG or even TRD models. They're just tc's with different paint and some chintzy extras (except for the enkei's) ie. oil cap, battery tie down! so scion can JACK the price up a couple g's. And so the few scion owners with superiority complexes can say, "oh, i have an RS2. Not just some regular $17,000 tc"-not saying ALL release series owners are like that, but that is a common trait in most people who buy the "special edition"/extra goodies/luxury car/etc... stuff.

no knocking anyone with RS's. But they're Exactly the same car as every other tc on the road.

lets not forget people, when its all said and done..we still drive scions. NO matter how cool the tc looks, its still no RSX-s, Si, G35 coupe, EVO or wrx.

 

the rs1 tC focused on exterior appeal while the rs2 had more interior mods
