if your gonna get a kit buy OEM ballast and bulbs its much more reliable and most of the time the same price or cheaper. Also i would strongly recommend getting projectors and doing a retro not just bulbs and ballasts

there's a guy on ebay that sells new oem denso ballasts and phillips d2s with a 9006 base for less than or around $300. "9006integra" or something like that. if you're gonna spend the money on a kit, buy that kit instead. all the parts will be reusable if you ever decide to retrofit unlike the parts from hid kits.

Retrofit is where you get a pair of OEM projectors .. Lyke from an S2000, and you get your headlights, and you kinda hack & cut a hole in your headlight and fit the projector in and BAM !! you create something lyke ..

^^ Thats a cutoff from Projector headlights. TSX projectors that is.

And thats an actual retrofit in an Integra. Or the results actually.

Some TC's on here have done a retrofit alrdy. Try doing a search =)

I actually have the hid kit that maximus is talking about from ebay. i bought them last year. its a very good hid kit. but if you're looking for that blue tint, dont go with these. these are like the ones that you see on the old lexus is300's. they're white with a very very slight blue tint in them.

i know this might be a little off topic, but in my wife's neon, i was able to purchase just some bright white bulbs...is that HID or just brighter bulbs, and if it is just brighter bulbs, does anyone know where I can get a pair for the 06 xA?

No .. Those arent HIDs. Theyre just halogen bulbs. HIDs come with a bulb and ballast. Im 100% sure that brands lyke PIAA, RAZO, KOITO, SILVERSTAR, etc. carry all the bulbs you need. If your talking about HIDs then you can go to websites lyke HIDPLANET.COM or XENONDEPOT.COM to purchase some.

That would be the way to go if you want OEM parts that are re-usable in a projector retrofit later on and have most light output possible on the foreground. Skip this if all you want is blue and purple lights and don’t care about seeing at night. Buy tinted halogen bulbs instead and save $250.

i also recommend from ebay:
i bought the HID kit about a year ago and no problems at all.
the best part was the price. $99 + $30 shipping.
$130 shipped and i was a happy guy. and it was the
full kit with ballasts, bulbs, brackets, and everything else you needed.
he has since raised his prices but only about $30.
so now $160 shipped. still a great price.
