Default Eight08Customs Scion tC Bracket Fitment

Does anyone know if the Eight08Customs License Plate Bracket (http://www.eight08customs.com/v3/sto...-plate-bracket) fits the 2008-2009 Model tC's? It was Originally made for 2005-2007 Models with the "Honeycomb" Grill. Just Asking because I don't want to Order one, and have it not Fit since the Grill on my 2009 is Horizontal. Thanks.

I would say no. But you may be able to get bigger washers to fit in between the other smaller horizontal parts of the grill.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. The thing is, I was Lucky enough that the Dealership didn't Drill Holes in my Bumper, and I want to Mount the Plate Low and to the Right.. I'll probably go the Zip Tie Route. Haha'.

I just went ahead and Bought the Bracket. It was only $19.95 Shipped, so really not that Bad. I'll Post Up a Picture as soon as I get it, and as soon as I get my Plates. I just figured it was Best I get it now, so when I show up at the Dealership to Pick Up my Plates, they don't go ahead and Drill Holes.

Awesome! How'd you Modify it? Bigger Washers like Recommended? Or Something Different? Thanks a lot!

yep if you use the bigger washers. i put smaller on the provided oens after while so that i could put the bracket it self more up in the upper corner of the grill (larger washers too big for it) to prevent the plate from scratching my lip. but am going to move it again and put bigger washers back on because it'll be more secure like it was before.

I just wanted to Post Up a Picture of the Bracket on the Car. For anyone else that has an 08' or 09' and was wondering about the Fitment also. It Fits well, but yeah, I'd Recommend either Smaller or Larger Washers, just because of the Shape of the Horizontal Grille. I'll take more Pictures once I get my Actual Plates, these were just my Old ones that were Lying around from my Eclipse, and I just Snapped a Picture with my Phone.

Haha', Yeah.. I Realized that it was WAY too Low, and Switched the Position of the Screws.. Just Picked Up some Larger Washers and Painted everything Black to Prevent Rust AND for Show. Should look pretty good when it's Done.

yea i jus got my whole car done bc of an accident so my new front bumper doesnt even have holes it jus has the dimples to where ur suppose to drill it

it looks nice bro but u might have to bring it up a bit so it sits kinda flush and so u dont see the grill and get a license plate frame lol

our area they'll jump on you for it. that's why i got it since the tc looks 100x's better w/ the plate off to the side compared to on the bumper (granted its going back there for the winter
