So, I was wondering...

Do you guys think it's corny to change out the Scion Emblem with a Toyota Emblem. I mean, technically it is a Toyota...considering its the SAME EXACT Camry engine. I really wish the tC was JDM. I guess I'm fake JDMing it. But I am technically correct aren't I?

Let me know how *edit* stupid my thoughts are or if it's not such a bad idea....

 

Its been done before so it is possible, though I personally am not a big fan because yeah its fake JDM.

Also the only one who can tell you weather or not your thoughts are attracted to other men's thoughts is YOU... look inside yourself, you might be surprised...

Anyway more importantly if you want your toyota emblem just search "toyota emblem" on google shopping, or eBay; you'll find what your looking for.

If you dig the swap, then do it. Personally, I think it's rather silly since Scion literally means descendant. As in a descendant from Toyota.

i don't know...like I definitely don't feel 100% right about it, but I still want to do it. I guess it's because I saw this CRAZY tC this guy in Japan imported. He did a KILLER JOB and it drove me crazy. He didn't do the emblem swap or anything but I mean, it gave me JDM fever just because, if you tune your car in Japan it turns out one way, even if it isn't JDM in the first place, and if you tune it here, it turns out another way. I LOVED the way it looked so I dunno, maybe I'm insane!

whats with all this JDM talk in the same sentance as scion.. im in no way bashing.. it just isnt so, no matter how hard you wish and what not.. its amazing how this conversation happens all over this site and all over other sites.

good luck though with that emblem swap i actually have insite.. a guy here did it with a echo emblem i believe on the back almost a prefect fit. again good luck!

 

A waste and pointless in my opinion. You bought a Scion. If you wanted a Toyota, why didnt you buy a toyota in the first place?

 

How about no emblems at all? That way, when people ask what it is you can say it's a Toyota.

 

Your choice your car......but be prepared if some smash you for it.....i mean take expresscion's advice that might work too....
