Default Fig grill installation process

How's it going guys
slowly modifying my car once again after i got my new exhaust.
Well I got my fig grills today and tried to install the upper part.
Now I followed the instructions (6 holes total, 1 on each side, 2 on top, 2 on bottom) but the grill is placed a bit back, which shows a gap to the sides of the grills. I drilled the holes on the tabs that holds the OEM grill.
I have the 09 tC w/ the honey comb grill, but should be the same for all tC's righ?
so should I drill another hole at each side toward the side bottoms to cover the gap?

Its not an exact science. I just held mine where i wanted them to be, and used a marker to dot where it looked like good spots to drill.

put the grille in place first before you zip tie it to figure out where it sits right, and which holes in the grille to put the zip ties through

I made 10 holes for the Top...

8 holes for the bottom.
