Default Front fender paint scrapes

Ever since I had noticed these last month, it has been constantly on my mind bugging the crap out of me. I tried using Scratch-X to get it out, it never even touched the paint issue.

I'm not even sure how these got there..

Need some ideas to see if I can get rid of it.

Polish it out, if its more than that you are looking at prolly $400 to have it fixed right

What should I use to polish it? Should I also pick up one of those power ***** to chuck up in a drill?

Rule of thumb is....no pun intended, if the scratch can catch your finger nail you most likely need to have it painted if not then it isn't deep enough. You can get Mequires Scratch X and use alot of elbow grease or a power ball designed specifically for scratches. Just don't over polish the area to the point you burn through the clear coat.

Yea I can feel the scratch with my fingernail when I run across it..but I cant tell if its ontop of the clear coat or not.

Guess I will just live with it :?

You can save yourself a lot of money but fixing that yourself... You will need sand paper, auto painters tape, Paint,... it is a really easy fix, it would take you a few hours. .. Just know this will happen again.. I have had those scratches on ever car I have owned..

Yea I wouldn't doubt it will happen again..my whole front bumper is foobar'd. Scrapes on the underside in the front, and paint chips across the whole front from just typical freeway driving and such.

Thanks for the tips guys
