im planning im buying a set of fogs in a couple months and want to know which would look better... BTW i have an 09 BSP tc with the lip kit...

Purple-ish fogs to match my headlights

OR

Yellow fogs 3000k?

 

VRD style? do u mean VRD or Ebay fogs? and as to color id stay far away from purple u cant see sh*t with those. If u wanna go with HID's in the fogs go with 3k or jus get sum plain yellow bulbs and id change out ur Headlight HID's to sum 4300/5/6k bulbs cause ur purple has no light put at all

 

a fellow alphasquad team member had yellow HIDs in his VRD fogs and they had SO much glare. depending on how close you were driving in front of him, all you could see were his yellow fogs, and he had 5000k HIDs for his main headlights.

so FYI if you get purple HIDs for your fogs (12000k most likely) you will attract attention from cops because you will be blinding the isht out of everybody.

 

Yeah like they've said, forget putting hid's in your vrd fogs. Just get some bulbs the color you want, and personally I like yellow.

 

there are a few guys i know running them in their fogs, and hopefully ihavenosn will chime in because i think he's got white HIDs in his.

all im saying is that 12000k is not gonna look nice in foglights. i do know the higher kelvin the less lumens of output you get, but IMO 12k is overdoing it.

 

ya, i thought so idk my friend has 6000k heads, and 3000k fogs and his are pretty good match as far as no glare and just enuff

 

Color coordinated headlights and fogs don't look as good as a good set of yellow fogs to go along with some nice blue or purple headlights. If you put HIDs in there prepare to annoy the *** out of people.
