Default Gloves included?

I went out to work on my car when I noticed more sratches. It looks like my finger nails cause it when I open the door. (I have short finger nails) So since Toyota won't fix the paint maybe they should include gloves when you buy a Scion. Has this happened to anyone eles?

Yeah. I just make a conscience effort to not put my fingers too far back. Either that or grab the handle underhanded. Your fingers tend to not go that far back.

Wow. I can't believe this is actually a thread. You could just as easily say "Oh man I lost control and hit a wall going 45 and Toyota won't fix the damage! How dare they?!"

But yes, that should buff out. Just give it a good paint clean, then polish the heck out of it. Should come right out.

I never asked to fix it. I was just saying that a lot of people are having problems with the cheap paint jobs and toyota/scion doesn't care. Since they don't want to fix the paint problem, maybe they should hand out gloves to new owners and tell them not to touch the cars without them on.

It's not scratching because of cheap quality bro. It's scratching because you're not careful of where you're sticking your fingers. My mom's LS430...she has the same problem because she has long fingernails and my dad gets ____ed at her. My car's doorhandle area? No scratches whatsoever.

Get educated man.
