I had these on my '07 for about a year before I changed them out for the black version and now I have RS3 tails. Be careful tho bcz these same kind leaked on me and got water in the left tail (which is why I switched to the black ones). As far as them fitting an '08, I'll do some research and find out. I know a lot of people that have these tails with all diff year tC's. I'll ask around.

You could always buy them and see if they fit without the harness and order the harness later if needed. Just make sure you have them hooked up right. I blew a fuse while installing them bcz I had it hooked up wrong at first.

The tails are a direct swap. It is headlights you would need a harness for

^ Just found the same thing out so that's exactly true. You should be good with buying just the tails.

Like said no fitment or wiring issues. But I would look for them from a better seller. Make sure they are the Anzo ones as well. THis style is my favorite. But i like the smoked bottom better than the clear.

^What he said. You do need an 05-07 harness.

Fitment is 05-10, but you do need the 05-07 harness.

They are anzo lights. I bought one from another member from here and I didn't need a harness. I have a 2010 tc. Just buy them and if you need a harness then buy one at the dealer. When you install them make sure you disconnect the battery and you connect the wires and relay the same way for both sides. I blew a fuse for not following those steps.

^I had no issues with my install and connecting the plugs or blowing any fuses, I didn't disconnect the battery either. Just look at the plugs before connecting them and should work on your first try.

@OP: You need the 05-07 bulb harness. The plug for the reverse bulb on the '08-10 will not place the bulb correctly on the housing to work with the reflectors. Just installed these today and have pics of the harnesses kind of side by side. Pics to be up later though, still working on other stuff with the car.

BTW, my taillights are branded Eagle Eyes.

^ I have a question for you, do you have regular bulbs for your reverse lights or LEDs? I want to put LEDs but I don't know if it's gonna be bright enough.

I'm just using the reverse bulb that came from factory, I might look into a super white halogen bulb, LED's may look nice but won't put out any more usable light though(sometimes less like posted above).
