I was wondering if anyone molded the lip kit for their tc and has any pics??? How much did it cost you to do?

 

scion_andrew has done his, i really wouldnt recommend it unless you know how to do it because no matter what it will eventually crack and you will have to fix it. I believe his has cracked a few times.

 

I was thinking about taking it 2 the body shop, since my car is white and that gray weather stripping is not that cool looking, but I dunno yet .... If it is cracking did he do it himself? Or body shop?

 

have a body shop plastic weld the lips to the bumpers. no cracking then. there one someone who used a kit to permanently glue his Five Axis kit. i think this method wont crack, but plastic welding is the best option.

 

Not worth it I dont think... if the weatherstripping color bothers you, take it off and paint it white with some Krylon fusion, its flexible.

But if you damage the front lip or something, and it isnt easily repairable, its going to SUCK getting it off. You will likely need to replace the bumper, get a new front lip and then remold.

Keep it take-off-able. JMO

 

I dont recomend doin that mine cracks all the dam time i finally unmolded it!

my rear is molded as well it has held up good but my front cracks cause im like 2 in off the floor

 

Cleanest mold job ever imo, Bertwo's tc I almost thought it wasn't molded.

WOW.. just took mine 2 the body shop, even though it looks good molded, ima keep it removeable. I did have then mold and cut the lip to make my vrd fit snuggly in place. I'm just waiting for my 6000k hid bulbs 2 arrive and i'm golden! Damn this whole mod thing is truley an addiction!! Wish I was rich! lolz
