Headlight Aim Question
I'm trying to reaim my headlights so that more light output is shown on the ground. So my question is: if I keep turning the screw behind the headlight that adjusts the beam vertically, counter-clockwise, which lowers the beam, will that actually give me more light output on the ground? And will that screw keep turning forever or does it actually have a stopping point? Better yet, is there a limit on how low the beam can go down?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I found that there is practically no limit to how high you can aim the beams. I have been driving around with my beams pointing skywards for the last few days because I never got around to fixing the aim after taking them apart. It's fun to drive on the freeway and light up the overhead signs and the headliners of the cars in front. Bet people hate me for it though.

so you say 2-3 turns, meaning 2-3 full 360 degree turns?
actually, counter clockwise will raise the beam. Clockwise will lower the beam. The right way to aim LB is to aim them parallel to the ground. Face a wall 15-20 ft away, adjust the beam to align them with the height of your headlights.

Lolz, it depends what way you are facing, people. If you stand behind the headlight and face in the direction of the beam, then a counterclockwise turn will lower the beam. If, for some reason, you are standing in front of the headlights and letting them shine on your legs, then a clockwise turn will lower the beam.

Well I baked them as well and manually put all the screws back in so I'm assuming it happened somewhere in that process, that some screws were tighter than others. and I bought the 3bSpecialists set so I don't think it's its the bulbs
