Default Headlight baking...searched and searched

ok im taking my headlights out and baking them today, and i have searched all over for a diy and tips on doing so, but have found contracting ways of doing so
example of what i have found:
bake at 220-230 for 10-15 min with lens down
bake at 250 for 15-20 min sitting flat like it does installed in car

i really dont want to mess this up, please any advise is welcome on this. thanks

I dont think it really matters, just as long as you put it on a cookie sheet.

From what I have heard, the first option is the better. You can always PM NeveNelEstate, his name is Andrew and he has baked his a few times. I am sure he can give you exact instructions on how he did his. Good Luck

200 for 20 mins, then after you do whatever you are doing put the two halves togther and bake at 200 for like 5-10 more mins to reheat the glue and then put the screws back in. make sure to remove all of the light bulb holders/screws, little vent hoses, and the rubber seals around the bulb holes before you bake them, I've baked each of my headlights like 4-5 times this way and haven't had any probs. Oh and you might want so gloves for pulling them apart, obviously they will be kinda hot Good luck

Oh and thanks Koolaid

Putting a buffer of wax or parchment paper down on the sheet is a good idea as the metal sheet can get hot enough to lightly melt the black ABS housing where it contacts the sheet (happened to me).

Most importantly, press the two halves back together TIGHT and press again after reheating and putting the screws back in. You don't want fogging issues!!!!!!

yeah i put 2 layers of foil on a cookie sheet.

P.S. - i dont recommend blacking out the eyelid. i did mine and becuase its so close to the clear lense it will attach itself to it and will look bad. but i bought bats eyelide and it it looks incredable.
