what kind of headlight bulbs should i get for my RS2? i got the vrd fog lights and the headlights are yellowish. am i just being picky??

 

8500k Seems to be that perfect pure white color. The bulbs are pretty cheap on ebay and seem to be bright enough.

 

Ditto what he said. I got Platinum white Halo halogens. Cost me about $30. They are just gonna get me by till I get HID projectors.

 

I would say 4300K or 5000K is pure white.

 

^ they're talking about ricer blue bulbs. The kelvin rating on those have absolutely no relation to the actual kelvin scale. It's based on a scale of pure bullsh*t

 

I'd say go with 3000Ks.....

 

Honestly, you shouldn't even waste your money with those ricer blue bulbs, they will all burn out on you in a matter of months. They not only reduce the lighting but risk having your harness melted. Just skip a couple of meals and get some HIDs.

 

thats not pure white, more like plain blue!

You want some bright white halogen bulbs? Get a pair of 9005 Silverstars and do this mod....

ditto. If any tinted bulb can produce that kind of color(8500K), your better off pointing one of those little LEDs you find on keychains out your window.
