Default Headlight Casing Burnt

So this happen a while back but you guys know for our headlights, where you twist and turn to lock in the wedges? well the wedges are burnt because of poor placing of a loose bulb. What can i do ? I don't want to get a new headlight thats expensive... Do you guys think I can get some super strong tape and tape the headlights back into the casing and make it secure? Right now i'm driving with one light technically and my fog.

if you dont feel like buying new headlights, instead of tape, I'd use some silicon caulking or something similar. It will give you a leak proof seal so your headlights dont fog up and get all gross.
