Ordered Xenon HIDs low beam and high beams. 80W lows 100W highs. I needed harnesses so I bought'em but one problem plugs on both ends. They have 1 plug on one end and the other end is wires to splice into the factory one. Anyone have any problems with this before (splicing the harnesses together and having problems I mean) cause if not then I'll do that this weekend but if it's a problem causer then I'll take them back and look for others with a female plug and a male plug. BTW got'em at Advanced so if they ain't worth usin it ain't no suprise. Nappa can't order them for me and Autozone was closed so I'll go check tomorro if I have to take these back. Here's some pics so you guys can tell me what you think.
Blue plugs are the 9006 harnesses and the black blugs are the 9005 harnesses.

what you have are replacement harnesses.... as in... cutting off the old one.. and splicing in the new.
but you shouldn't use them anyway.... you need a relay harness... that way the HIDs take power directly from the battery.

Well the thing about it is that they aren't actual HIDs. They're Xenon gas filled bulbs that give that HID look. The low beam bulbs are 80W and the highs are 100W. How much would a relay cost me and how much trouble is it to install it, and does the relay change my harnesses? I'm on a limited budget so I can't spend alot of cash thats why I went with Xenon bulbs and I need plug and play harnesses. i.e.: female plug one end and male plug at the other end. Plugs into the headlight for one end the other plugs into the factory harness. Unless these will work with no problems which I'm trying to figure out.

Heres the link to the site I bought them from. It says they're HID Xenon bulbs, Xenon gas filled. So even though they're high watts they should work. I've even seen pics of Xenon that are 80W lows and they worked with them. I just needed to know if splicing would cause me any trouble. I got everything figured out and these WILL work I'm sure of it.

I seen those and didn't think and bought them. I only paid $22.99 for them but if I send them back I gotta pay another $8 s&h and I don't get that or the original $8 for s&h back. So I'm still out $16 lol.

he doesnt even need a relay since its not an HID kit. But Seriously man! 80w is ALOT for bulbs! Im trying to tell you not to get them! even ebay is selling the EXACT same thing!

I bought mine from HiProSpeed and they wasn't $4.50 a pair. They were on sale for $14.99 from $29.99. And these are Xenon bulbs. I got them earlier this week and looked at them. I'm not gonna be hurting anything except for the aftermarket harness if it even hurts that.

Thing is I'm cutting the plug from the factory one off so it won't fry if the aftermarket one does. And if that does fry then I'll be out $45 max. Then I'll go to Silverstars. It ain't that its not gettin through my head its that I paid for it and I wanna see if it works or not.
