headlight overlay installation: which method?
I just bought some headlight overlays off ebay (not from a SL vendor) and I'm not sure how to put them on. I'm worried about jacking it up and losing my $40 investment. the instructions that came with the overlays say to soak them in soap water. I searched these forums and come across 2 methods of installation.
1. wet application (soap water + dryer)

2. dry application (no water)

which method did you guys use for headlight overlays? i'm not concerned about tails (since it may be more difficult or easy). any tips or advice? thnx.

wet install will allow you more leeway for adjustment.
i'd recommended it for this type of application and for anyone who's never done anything like this before....
that leeway is good.. and also... water bubbles are ALOT easier to deal with than air bubbles... granted ideally and you hope that you don't get any in the first place..
