And I thought spending $800 for factory HIDs on some cars was a huge over spend (something that wont in a million years pay for itself.... gives a little better visibility than the already fine halogens and is supposed to add bling).. I can light your whole car up for $1700. All custom interior lighthing, underglow, custom led controllers, etc and still have money to do those headlights and buy my self a LOT of beer

I have no plans on buying (I like my headlights as they are, thank you). I figure it's worth a four block walk to see what they're doing differently, if anything, that causes them to charge so much. Besides, there might be some other products they are working on for the tC and it doesn't make any sense not to visit with them because of some $1600+ headlights.

I talked with them on the phone and made a morning appointment for tomorrow, I'll keep you posted.

Jig, you gotta remeber, MT is a big state -- but what's the HUMAN population. I wonder how many tCs exist in that area, seriously. I bet ya'll have mad tractors and big trucks though right?? The audience is so much different that's all. It's probably like going to Turlock, CA where there are more cows than people, they probably don't have too many modded cars, moreless tCs.

someone just shot me a link that hey... they do 3rd brake light extensions for $315! nice claim about using 1/10 less the power of stock...

so hmm.... leds.... 1/10th the power..... still insignificant to care... but how lovely.... it looks nice indeed and they fill out the entire light more than my design.... but is it worth that extra $215 more?

hmm... imho..... i dunno what to say. i'll leave it up to everyone else.

i know why their stuff is expensive.. cause the products they use are pre-manufactured led products... and those themselves are expensive.... is it worth it though? again... i'll leave it up to people to deside on that.

some people are just dumb with money.. or just have too much to even care... regardless.... business people like money... and will gouge it from the customers as much as they can.

anyone with money they want to throw away? i'll come by as mr. trashman to pick it up.... some people actually could use it more than some of you.

Oh . I have enough of a life where i need not even look . Why ? Because the price screams GO AWAY . I hope you get some . It would make them happy . There is something for everyone . Helpful advice is , they are not worth . I am intelligent enough to know where to spend my time . Looking at a $ 1700 set of headlights they are not even retro is a total waste of time . I always want to learn about new products . My life continues on finding worthwhile things . If that is worthwhile to you , go for it . It was you that said you wanted to see if they were " worth it " . I just hate to see fellow owners giving things like this the time of day . No problem . Meant no harm . I do find it funny . I've already made it clear to you that I have absolutely no intenions to buy their headlights (reading comprehension skills are sorely lacking here on ScionLife). However, they do offer an innovation that at this moment no one has duplicated with the LED rings around the headlight. Either I can sit here on the internet and speculate as to what they may be using, or I can take a few moments to go see for myself... for free.
