Damn, that's just insane.
You could put in a new motor for that cash
Or buy some of the best rims out there, Works. Or even some used/underpriced Advans. And yes there are others. for 200 more you can get Works w/VERY nice tires

Anyone that would pay $ 1700 for headlights should have bought a different car . This is why they are not worth looking at . If they are worth your time to consider , sell your TC and buy another car . Yeeeouch

I learned a lot from my visit and took away a copious amount of advice and ideas.

If you are not interested in building or judging show cars, do not read any further.

Are these lights worth $1625? Yes, they are... BUT only if you are into building a high-end show car for HIN, AutoCrave, SEMA, or similar shows where the most minute details are the difference between best of show or nothing. There are many other mods you can get for the price, these lights are for the people with all of those mods and then some, such as scandalous, zboytroy (FIVEAxis), and others with immaculate, highly modified tCs.

ClearCorners.com primarily specializes in high-end sport coupes and sedans, and that was evident when I walked in the shop to see a racks of head, tail, and sidemarker lights from Porsche, Lotus, NSX, Skylines and G35. As far as build quality goes, the attention to detail is amazing and looks almost OEM; you have to look REALLY hard to tell the lights have been modded... asuming you're not blinded by the bright f'n LEDs

So what makes them worth 1625?? I mean this is a 17k car, what are they putting in them to justify that price??

It's kind of like asking what makes a set of Work Emotion CRs worth more than a set of Rota Torques, they're similar looking wheels and will get you down the road just same, but it's the craftsmanship that set them apart. I've seen headlights with cold solder joints, micro cracked lenses (from overbaking), poor sealant, LEDs that burn out in weeks, and in some cases you can see where someone used a dremel to open the housing; these don't seem to suffer from those problems. That's why I said they for high-end show cars, those are very small details that judges look for in major car shows that isn't worth much to you and I, but mean that much to people that have invested over $25k into a 17k car.
