Default Headlights

Hello all,

I have a question about the small light bulb inside the housing under the normal halogen bulb, what is its function mine doesnt seem to turn on. Is this something that only comes on with the fog lights?

If it doesn't come on, it's probably burned out. It's just a city light. It comes on with the parking lights.

Okay is there any diagrams that might show how to change them here on the forum if they are burnt out?

I doubt it. You could try looking in your owner's manual. But it's really just as simple as popping your hood, reaching under the headlight, turning the socket, and pulling it out. Remove the bulb and put in the new one. Reverse the steps. The bulb is a 194/168.

No problem. Messing with things on a car you're unfamiliar with can be intimidating at times.

Definitely not a dumb question. I love my tC because a lot of the stuff on it I've been doing myself from other scion owners and forums in general.

And my city lights do not like being removed. Socket is tight as hell.
