Just noticed this recently on my 06 tC. The headlights used to turn off automatically when I open the door after I shut off the engine but now it just stays on.

Anyone know what's wrong?

 

You ever figure this out???

 

Door switch dirty and stuck. Not changing between closed to open.
Pull out multimeter and measure to figure out which switch it is.
Typically stuck closed due to dirt and grit. Simple enough to clean it out and get it operational again

 

Thank you so much!!! I appreciate the reply. I'm having some issues on my tc. Things dont turn off when i turn off the car and take the keys out. So I'll try giving them a good cleaning until i get my hands on a multimeter
