Default HELP! Hid Problems...

Hello everyone,

I am having a small problem that I can't figure out... when my HID's are on they are fine but SOMETIMES when I turn my lights on, only ONE of them turn on...I have to keep turning them on and off and on and off until they both come on...=( does anyone know what the problem could be or if this is fixable?

thanks in advance for all the help!

Sounds like the problem is your ballast. Try switching them and see if the problem happenst to other bulb.

if any of you have harnesses so that the ballasts are powered directly by the battery, check those as well as any relays that they use.

if the HIDs are powered directly by the battery and not by the factory harness, then check the relays for rust or corrosion, and check for any damage in the wires (any exposed wire from the sheathing)
