I have a scion tc, and I recently bought a HiD Conversion kit 6000K. My low beam are 9006, and I double checked the HID's are 9006 as well. My problem is when I put the HID light bulb into the housing it doesn't want to lock in place. So it's just fits but doesn't lock.I checked doubled check and the bulbs are 9006. I don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

what do you mean by lock? Does it turn?

 

Nope, It doesn't want to turn into a lock position.

 

it dosn't turn at all or does it turn but incomplete?

 

you have to push it all the way in and then turn to lock it

 

compare them to the stock bulbs. do the fins on each bulb look simliar to the other?

 

i had that problem too but it was only on the driver's side. I just wiggled it around and pushed and it locked in place.

 

Well, do your HIDs light up? Just push in a little harder. If it still doesn't lock in place, maybe the manufacturer didn't cut it properly, but if it holds then I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Thanks everyone for the help. I figured out what was wrong and the manufacture didn't cut it correctly. So what I did was loosen up the screws for the housing and it fit right in. I greatly appreciate for everyone's help. Thanks.
