Im going with 6000k because the whole shpiel, that iv read on several forums, on how the more blue you get the less visible light and your visibility gets poor. Althought I love the bluer look it doesnt seem practical. If anything later on ill switch out the bulbs to 8000k if i really feel the need 2. Thanks again everyone for all your input, you guys really helped seal my final decision.

i think i'm going with 6k , 8k is too blue and you lose a little bit of light output.......i want to light up the road as much as i can

California Law states HIDs are illegal in cars that dont come factory with HIDs . With 8000k the light is more of a blue so you will catch the cops eye more than if you were to have 6000k .

I'm pretty sure most states have this law, you just don't know about it.

here is my 6000k lights I ended up getting. Got them form www.mod-express.com awsome deal free shipping, and 70 discount for scionlife members! so it was like 150.00 shipped. Plus the ballasts are waterproff, unlike other cheap hid kits. Ill post a night time shot later on.

here is how the 6000k hid kit looks at night, the picture from my phone does it no justice thou, the projectors focus the light very well so they dont looks like big bright b;urry blots of light.

Left definately looks like something in the 4300-5000k area with pure white, 6000k definitely has a noticible hint of blue.
