HID Ballasts?

HID Ballasts?
So I bought my tC back in April, and noticed that it had HID ballast boxes installed. I'll take some picture tomorrow to help solve my question but my buddy just gave me some Xenon Krypton lights that are awesome, but I don't think they are considered HIDs. Can I still use em with the ballast, or do I have to rewire the headlights

If they are FAKE blubs, connect them to your ballast, and watch the fireworks.
